Burnley and Preston faced off just weeks after Osmajic is alleged to have racially abused Mejbri, prompting the entire Clarets line-up to refuse to shake the Montenegro international's hand in the build up to the FA Cup clash. Osmajic smirked as he received the treatment from the Burnley players and the 25-year-old went on to taunt Burnley fans after putting Preston 2-0 up in the first half.

Osmajic is alleged by Mejbri to have made a racist comment in Burnley's game against Preston in February, with the ex-Manchester United midfielder rushing to complain of the incident mid-way through the match. It is not the first controversy surrounding Osmajic this season after he was banned for eight matches for biting an opponent in September.
WHAT PRESTON AND BURNLEY SAID
Following the incident last month, Preston released a statement denying the claims of racism, saying: "Milutin Osmajic has strongly refuted the claims of a comment made towards Hannibal Mejbri in a post-match meeting with today's match officials. It followed Mejbri taking to social media to explain he "will not be silent" over the incident.
