England’s only one-day warm-up match before the series starts was washed out today without a ball being bowled. England were due to take on Guyana, but persistent rain dashed any hopes of play. The opening one-day international, on Sunday, is now also in doubt.The game does have a reserve day on the Monday, but that too looks unlikely to happen unless the rain eases up. The series consists of seven matches, due to start in Guyana and finishing in Barbados on May 5.
