Bruno Fernandes should be stripped of the captaincy at Manchester United following his display in the 3-0 loss to Manchester City, Roy Keane says.

The midfielder was given the armband this season after coach Erik ten Hag stripped Harry Maguire of the captaincy.
The Portugal star could not inspire his team to a fight back against their fierce rivals, however, as a double from Erling Haaland and a goal from Phil Foden saw City take home three points from Old Trafford.

Fernandes' leadership qualities have been called into question several times, with pundits such as Keane, Gary Neville and Micah Richards all criticising his body language and treatment of team-mates.
United legend Keane believes that it is time for Ten Hag take the armband off of the 29-year-old and give it to someone else.
WHAT THEY SAID
"The first thing I would do, I have to tell you having watched him again, I would definitely take the captaincy off him, 100 per cent," he said on .
"I know it's a big decision and obviously they changed the captain with Maguire. Fernandes is not captain material. I think he’s a talented player, no doubt about it. But what I saw with him today, I know we’ve discussed his before. His whinging, his moaning, his throwing his arms up in the air constantly. It really isn’t acceptable.
"I would take it off him. Where do you make changes? I would start with that because the manager can do that. He’s the opposite of what I’d want in a captain."
